Ms. Elham (Ms. Eli) has been an esteemed member of Kids Academy since April 2023, bringing over a decade of invaluable teaching experience with toddlers and infants. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, her passion for working with children is driven by a profound belief in the transformative power of early education. She is currently working towards earning her Infant/Toddler Gateway Level 3 Credential. Ms. Elham finds immense satisfaction in guiding and nurturing young minds because it allows her to be a positive influence during their formative years, fostering a foundation for lifelong learning and curiosity.
Ms. Cheryl has been an integral part of Kids Academy since 2018, bringing with her a wealth of experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE) through numerous training hours. Currently, she is diligently working towards securing her Infant/Toddler Gateways Level 3 Credential. With the wisdom gained from raising three children and now enjoying the role of a grandparent, Ms. Cheryl finds immense fulfillment in working with children. Her passion lies in being a part of their initial moments and guiding them through their first experiences.
Ms. Diana has been a joyful part of the Kids Academy family for the past year. Her positivity and warm demeanor brighten the Infant Room, where she creates a nurturing and safe environment for our youngest learners. Passionate about helping infants thrive, she loves celebrating their milestones and building meaningful connections with families. We are grateful for the smiles and care she brings to our team each day!
In 2023, Ms. Cristal became a valued member of Kids Academy, bringing with her two years of teaching experience in an early child care setting. Over the past year and a half, she has served as the Lead Teacher in the 2/3’s Room, where her creativity and dedication enriched the lives of the children in her care. Now, Ms. Cristal is excited to transition into the Infant Room while also taking on responsibilities in the kitchen as she pursues her college journey and explores her future major. Committed to professional growth, Ms. Cristal is currently working toward her Infant/Toddler Gateway Level 3 and ECE Gateway Level 3 Credentials. She finds great joy in working with children, cherishing the pure, judgment-free interactions and the sweet expressions that make each day special. Her adaptability, passion, and enthusiasm continue to make her an integral part of the Kids Academy family.
Ms. Maheen became a cherished member of Kids Academy in 2022, drawing on her rich experience of raising three children and delighting in the presence of her five grandchildren. Over the past year, she served as the assistant teacher in the Infant Room, where her warmth and nurturing care left a lasting impact. She has now transitioned to the Toddler Room, bringing the same dedication and enthusiasm to supporting our growing toddlers. Currently pursuing her Infant/Toddler Gateway Level 3 Credential, Ms. Maheen finds profound joy in working with children because it allows her to play a pivotal role in shaping their early years, fostering growth, and witnessing the boundless potential encapsulated in each child’s journey. Her expertise, compassion, and love for teaching make her a deeply valued member of the Kids Academy team.
Ms. Verna recently transitioned to the role of Lead Teacher in our toddler room, bringing over 25 years of expertise in early childhood education to her leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of La Verne in California and is a Gateway Credential Level 4 educator. Throughout her career, Ms. Verna has worked with children of various ages, nurturing their growth and development with her patience, care, and dedication. She is passionate about teaching and takes great pride in helping children learn, grow, and achieve new milestones. As a lead teacher, Ms. Verna continues to bring her warmth, expertise, and commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for both the children and her colleagues. She is an invaluable part of the Kids Academy team, and we are excited to see her thrive in this new role!
In 2023, Ms. Sarah enthusiastically became a part of Kids Academy, bringing with her an impressive track record of over 20 years in early childcare, predominantly focused on children aged five and under. Having dedicated significant time to non-profit organizations, she brings a holistic perspective to her work. Holding a Masters in Early Childhood Education from DePaul, Ms. Sarah is deeply passionate about working with children because it allows her to contribute to their crucial early years, shaping their foundations for learning and growth.
Ms. Nighat has been an integral part of the Kids Academy team since 2020. Currently pursuing her ECE Gateway Level 4 Credential, she brings a wealth of experience and holds a CDA. Ms. Nighat’s genuine passion for working with children is evident in her daily interactions. The joy she finds in working with 3-5 year olds stems from their remarkable understanding and emotional depth, making each day uniquely rewarding. The dynamic nature of her role ensures that no two days are alike, adding to the fulfillment she experiences in brightening the children’s days.
Ms. Yumna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has been an integral part of the Kids Academy team for eight years, passionately teaching Pre-K students. She is currently working on achieving her Early Childhood Education (ECE) Gateways Credentials for Level 3. Ms. Yumna loves teaching because it allows her to witness the incredible growth and development of her students throughout the year. She cherishes the bonds she forms with the children, from their warm hugs to seeing the world through their eyes. Her dedication to nurturing young minds makes her classroom a place of joy and learning.
